Privacy Policy
Last updated August 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how DT Technology Systems, Inc. (“appdrop,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use appdrop — including our websites, the apps and games on appdrop, our publishing tools, and the appdrop SDK (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account and identity information. When you sign in, our authentication provider, Privy, processes information such as your email address, social login identifiers, and any wallet addresses you connect. We store a corresponding account record to identify you within appdrop.
- Profile information. A username, display name, avatar, and any other details you choose to add to your profile.
- App outputs and activity. The outputs you save from apps, your saved creations, and records of apps you view or interact with, so we can show your saved work back to you and improve discovery.
- Creator and publishing information. If you publish apps, information about your apps, listings, and the hosting or device authorizations you use to publish.
- Usage and device information. Analytics and technical data such as pages viewed, interactions, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser and device type, and similar diagnostic information.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, secure, and maintain the Service.
- Authenticate you, manage your account, and save and display your outputs, saved creations, and profile.
- Enable sharing, discovery, and other features you choose to use.
- Support app publishing and verify creators and publishing authorizations.
- Understand how the Service is used, measure and improve performance, and develop new features.
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security issues, and violations of our Terms.
- Communicate with you about the Service, when relevant.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
3. Service providers and third parties
We share information with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf to operate the Service, and with third parties in the situations described below. The providers we rely on include:
- Privy — authentication and wallet connection.
- Supabase — database and storage of your account, outputs, and related records.
- Cloudflare — hosting and delivery of apps and assets.
- Vercel — hosting and platform analytics for appdrop.
- Amplitude — product analytics.
These providers may process information outside your country. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Third-party apps
Apps on appdrop may be operated by independent creators. When you use a third-party app — including apps embedded through the appdrop SDK — that app may receive information needed to function, such as a request to identify you or to save an output. Third-party apps are responsible for their own data practices, which may differ from this Policy. We encourage you to review a creator’s own terms and policies where available.
Deleting your appdrop account removes information controlled by appdrop. It does not automatically delete information you provided directly to an independent third-party app; contact that app's operator for requests about information it controls.
5. When we share information
We may also share information:
- When you choose to share — for example, by using sharing features or making profile content public.
- To comply with law, legal process, or enforceable governmental requests.
- To protect the rights, property, and safety of appdrop, our users, or the public, and to enforce our Terms.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our providers use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure the Service, and measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work properly without them.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterward for as long as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we remove your profile, apps, creations, comments, follows, likes, uploaded media, and access to the Service that appdrop controls. We may retain limited transaction, delivery, moderation, or safety records where necessary, removing their direct appdrop account link where possible, together with a minimal record that prevents the deleted account from being restored. Information controlled by independent third-party apps is subject to their own retention practices.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can update much of your profile information directly in the Service. To exercise other rights, contact us at support@appdrop.com. We will respond consistent with applicable law and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You can permanently delete your account directly from the Danger zone in Profile Settings. You may also contact us if you cannot access that control.
9. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
