This week at danger testing, vol. 1
If you have a “real job” and aren’t as chronically online as we are, you might’ve missed one of Jess’s 400 tweets (or an app we dropped).

If you have a “real job” and aren’t as chronically online as we are, you might’ve missed one of Jess’s 400 tweets (or an app we dropped).
Starting today, each week we’ll summarize what happened at Danger Testing so you don’t miss a thing.
TL;DR:
- Jess’s wrote a beautiful essay asking “can we create software that makes us feel as emotional as a song can?”
- Mike Wing brought Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater into the world of underground UK rap
- We have a Podcast now, and drop apps about tech weekly
- We threw a party in nyc showing the new apps we’re working on
Apps we dropped
Tech or Fashion?
Tech or Fashion asks whether the classic tech bro uniform still exists now that they’re obsessing over taste and have enough Anthropic secondaries to revamp their wardrobe. Can we still tell a tech bro from a New York Fashion Week model?
Image to Playlist
Marc wanted a new way to find some great music, so he dropped an app that turns any image into a playlist that you can save right to your Spotify account.
Underground Pro Skater
Mike Wing dropped an app combining the underground rap scene with Tony Hawk pro skater.
Safe to say, Fakemink’s manager was a fan:
Mashup Factory
Mike also shipped Mashup Factory, a website that mixes rappers and beats to bring your dream remixes to life (in the style of MySims!).
Writing we shared
Jess wrote about her exploration of using software to invoke emotion the same way a song or writing would.
Events we hosted
We invited our favorite creatives in NYC interested in weird tech last Thursday for an evening of app demos, good music, and our friend Lambo spray painting t-shirts with the DT logo.
Thanks for staying in the loop — see y’all next week!
